The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of “competition”, without the pressure of a competitive race. At IRONKIDS it’s all about the community, fun and future!
The fun run will begin at 9AM on June 24th. The location will be McEuen Park. Ages 0-17 are encouraged to participate in the diaper dash. toddler trot, 1/2 mile or 1 mile.
Run distances are based on the children’s age and interest.
Participants will receive a t-shirt, race bib, medal, goodie bag and the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID.
A portion of your entrance fee goes to your local non-profit, the North Idaho Sports Commission- harnessing the power of sport to make a stronger community.”

We are excited to announce a new and exciting event! The NISC Community Festival will take place Friday, 6/24: 12p-6p, Saturday , 6/25: 10a-5p, and Sunday, 6/26: 10a-3p during the Ironman 70.3 race weekend in Coeur d'Alene. The Festival will include local food trucks, cold beverages including beer/wine/cocktails, local crafts, and music! The Festival will be located in City Park in front of the bandshell, and will be a place to hang out, meet up with friends, and grab a bite/sip. We are super stoked to involve the local community and we welcome everyone to check it out. Here are just a few of the businesses that will be there: TacoWorks, the Wellness Bar, 315 Cuisine, and Bumblebee Jewelry!
NISC will be attending the annual Family Day in the Park on Friday, June 10 from 12p to 6p in Fort Grounds Park. Stop by to learn more about how NISC is supporting and promoting youth sports education. You can also learn more about the IRONKIDS 2022 CDA event taking place in McEuen Park on Saturday, June 25 or learn more about how you can support NISC, which runs on volunteer power and community donations. Always a favorite, this Annual 5k/10k Run around beautiful Hauser Lake is on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Walkers and dogs welcome too. We just ask that you start at the back of the pack.
Same day registration begins at 8:00, race starts at 10AM sharp. This fast course is one of the most gorgeous you will ever have the pleasure of experiencing!
The 10k course is a Bloomsday Second Seed Qualifier and USA Track & Field Certified!

Join the Jen McKenna Paddle & Run for a new unique event experience in Coeur d'Alene: paddle and run. Using a kayak or paddle board, athletes will paddle about 1.5 miles, hop out and run approximately 5 miles. Fun, yet challenging.

4 game guarantee with a 3 game round robin play on Fri night and Saturday where teams are gathered into 16 4-team groups. Sunday we have single elimination as teams are placed into 6 brackets; Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper and Aluminum. (Platinum is double elimination) Plaques for Round Robin winners are awarded for Fri/Saturday's game play and 1st and 2nd place trophies for Sundays bracket winners as well as championship tshirts for all 6 first place bracket winners. (note CdA and Spokane teams need to be ready to play Friday night, out of town teams will not play Friday).

During Taste of Rathdrum come out and enjoy the 8th Annual BBQ Cook-Off or the 3rd Annual Westwood Burger Battle.
Register to compete in either or both competitions.
BBQ Cook-Off:
This competition contains three (3) categories: Chicken, Ribs, & Anything Bacon
You can choose to compete in all three (3) or one (1) or two (2).
Cost: $10 per each category or $25 for all three
This is a blind judged competition. Trophies and prizes awarded for 1st - 3rd place.
This year's Pit Master will win a Traeger Century 22/34 Pellet Grill.
Westwood Burger Battle:
This competition requires participants to cook a total of nine (9) identical burgers. One (1) burger will be used to judge appearance, while the eight (8) other burgers will be quartered and judged.
Cost: $10 entry fee to compete
This is a people's choice judging. Trophies and prizes awarded for 1st place.
Registration for the People's Choice Burger Battle takes place from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm day of the event.

ApeX Ace Race . Powered by Prodigy is an unsanctioned ApeX Point Series event.
Featuring 2 rounds of 54 holes (108 holes total) on Little Black Bear at the Farragut State Park disc golf complex.
What separates ApeX Ace Race from other Ace Race type events is you can utilize your entire bag as you go on the hunt for Aces.
